Ducts.org: Submissions

Step up to the plate…

We are interested in receiving material for publication. We accept submissions by e-mail only. Ducts reads submissions from January through August of every year. Those who submit work from September through December will be invited to resend their pieces during our reading period.

Please note our new submissions guidelines, effective 2009:

All written pieces (with the exception of poetry) MUST be single spaced only, with NO indents or tabs
The title of the piece should appear on the first page only (no separate title pages please)
Please do not include footers or page numbers in the document
Please include your full name, mailing address, and a brief (1-3 sentence) bio with your submission
For Memoirs submissions, please include a brief (1 or 2 sentence) description of your piece

Any submissions that do not meet these requirements may be returned for proper formatting.

Humor word count maximum is 1,200 words.

For poetry, please send between 3 and 5 poems.
